General Terms and Conditions
Organising Committee for the 11th IAAF Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 (hereinafter, the "LOC") has following General Terms and Conditions for the tickets of the 11th IAAF Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 (the "Event"). Those persons who purchase the tickets of and watch the Event are required to observe the following General Terms and Conditions and such other terms and conditions as set forth respectively for each type of tickets (the "Individual Terms and Conditions").
<<Ticket Application>>
- Tickets for the Event will be sold at ticket office designated by the LOC.
- Details of tickets sales shall be in accordance with the methods applied by each ticket office.
- Ticket sales will be closed upon sold out even during the ticket sales period. However ticket sales may be resumed in case of additional sales.
- One ticket is valid for one person only.
- Those purchasers who wish to bring wheelchairs, service dogs, are requested to contact the IAAF World Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 Ticket Office ("LOC Tickets Office") for details.
- Preschool children will be allowed to watch the session without tickets only in the case that the accompanying ticket holder shares his or her seat with such child. One seat is allowed to be shared with only one child. Preschool children who use seats are required to purchase tickets.
- Cancellation or change of the ticket after purchase will not be accepted.
<<Reissuance and resale>>
- Ticket shall not be reissued for any reason whatsoever including loss, theft, damage.
- It is not permitted to resell the tickets to the third parties for the purpose of profit-making or to the third parties who may resell the tickets for the purpose of profit-making. It is also not permitted to resell or attempt to resell the tickets on the internet auction.
- If the facts of resale which violate foregoing are uncovered, LOC Ticket Office may invalidate the ticket resold, refuse admission or expel from the stadium, etc. without refundment of the purchase price of the ticket.
- The LOC shall not be responsible for any ticket purchased from the ticket outlets other than those designated by the LOC such as the message board on the web site, auction, purchasing agency, ticket touts.
<<Refundment of Ticket>>
- The Event will not be cancelled even in case of rain. However Event schedule may be changed by bad weather. In such case, ticket will not be refunded. See provisions in the Individual Terms and Conditions for the refundment.
- Travel expenses, etc shall not be compensated with respect to the cancellation or postponement of the Event.
<<Precautions for spectators>>
- It is prohibited to bring following items in the stadium.
- Image or sound recording or transmission equipment which will be used to record or transmit the Championships for any purposes other than the non-commercial, personal use of the ticket holder.
- Glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, drink containers, pets, umbrellas
- Dangerous objects (scissors, knives, explosives and combustibles), umbrellas
- Promotional or commercial materials and items bearing religious or political messages.
- Items which the Organizer regards as dangerous or a nuisance to the public (scissors, cutting tools, fireworks, flares, musical instruments, loud speakers, banners, etc)
- Any equipment including FRS/GSRS which emits radio waves, except mobile phones.
- It is prohibited to enter into track or field. Those who disobey the instruction by the Event operation staff or make a public nuisance will be forced to expel from the stadium. In such event, the purchase price of the ticket shall not be refunded.
- Upon request of stadium staff, clerk, security personnel, you must accept presentation of personal identifiable items, inspection of personal belongings, impounding of forbidden items and body check.
- There is no roof in the stadium except certain area. Spectators are requested to prepare measures for rain and temperature.(It is prohibited use umbrella in the stadium)
- Smoking is not permitted in the stadium except at the designated area.
- The LOC shall not be responsible for any accident, theft, etc. arising in and around the stadium.
- Any person attending a match or related events shall be deemed to have given his/her consent to the use by the mass media related to the Event of his/her images or likeliness.
- Please use public transportation systems such as trains, buses, etc as there is no parking space around the stadium.
<<Privacy Policy>>
- Personally identifiable information of ticket purchasers posted to each ticket office designated by the LOC shall belong to the LOC.
- The LOC shall use personally identifiable information of ticket purchasers in accordance with the privacy policies set forth by each ticket office. Ticket purchasers must accept such privacy policies before purchase of the tickets.
<<Other>>
The LOC may change or add the provision of the General Terms and Conditions or Individual Terms and Conditions without any prior notice. LOC shall not refund any part of price of the ticket with respect to such change or addition.
Terms and Conditions for Advance Sale Ticket
Before applying for the Advance Sale Ticket, purchasers must read and accept these Terms and Conditions for the Advance Sale Ticket (hereinafter, the "AS Terms and Conditions").
The Organising Committee for the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 (the "LOC") has the following Terms and Conditions for the sales of the ticket of the 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 (the "Event") sold during the Advance Sale period designated by the LOC (the "Ticket")
1. <<Price>>

In addition to the price for the Ticket, additional charges for payment or delivery of the Ticket may be required. |
| 1-2. |
The LOC has the right to change or add charges for payment or delivery of the Ticket subject to prior notice as the LOC finds appropriate. |
2. <<Sales Contract>>
| 2-1. |
Purchasers are requested to apply for the purchase of the Ticket through internet and in accordance with the procedures designated by the LOC hereto. The sales contract of the Ticket shall become effective upon issuance of the application confirmation e-mail from the IAAF World Championships in Athletics Osaka 2007 Ticket Office (the "LOC Ticket Office") to the purchaser. |
| 2-2. |
The LOC shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising against a purchaser caused by delay or failure in execution or notice with respect to the sales contract due to the accident or failure of the postal system, communication or computer network system, or incorrect posting of telephone number to mail address. |
3. <<Refusal of sale>>

The LOC may refuse sales of the Ticket in the following cases. |

In the event that the purchaser has made a false statement or has not provided necessary information. |
| (2) |
In the event that the purchaser has made a nuisance to other purchasers or the public, or prevented the LOC from implementing smooth sales of the Ticket. |
| (3) |
In the event that the purchaser has not taken necessary procedures within the period designated by the LOC. |
| (4) |
In the event that the purchaser has not observed the purchase procedures designated by the LOC. |
| (5) |
In the event that the purchaser has violated the General Terms and Conditions or AS Terms and Conditions. |
4. <<Payment>>
| 4-1. |
Charges for payment shall be borne by the purchasers. |
| 4-2. |
The sales contract shall be null and void in the event that purchaser does not pay the price of the Ticket within the period designated by the LOC. |
| 4-3. |
Change of payment method shall not be accepted after the conclusion of the sales contract of the Ticket. |
5. <<Delivery of the Ticket>>
| 5-1. |
The Ticket will be delivered to the address designated by the purchaser in the application form (the "Delivery Address"). In the case of any change of the Delivery Address after the conclusion of the sales contract, purchasers are required to contact the LOC Ticket Office without fail. In the case of failure in informing such change to the LOC Ticket Office, the LOC shall not be responsible for delivery of the Ticket. |
| 5-2. |
In the event that the Ticket is not received by the purchaser because of the purchaserfs circumstances, the price of the Ticket shall not be refunded. |
| 5-3. |
The redelivery charge of Tickets returned to the LOC Ticket Office due to failure of the purchaser to receive the Ticket shall be borne by the purchaser. |
| 5-4. |
Receipt of the Ticket by a person other than the purchaser shall be deemed to be completion of delivery of the Ticket to the purchaser and the LOC shall not be responsible for such delivery. |
| 5-5. |
Purchasers are requested to confirm the details of the Ticket upon receipt of the Ticket and in the case of any error of the Ticket, purchasers are requested to contact the LOC Ticket Office within seven days from the date of receipt of the Ticket by the purchaser or the date of the delivery record of posted to purchaser by the delivery company during the purchaserfs absence from the designated address. |
| 5-6. |
In the event that the Ticket does not reach the purchaser by July 30, 2007, the purchaser shall contact the LOC Ticket Office in person. In such event, the LOC may, at its discretion, conduct reasonable research. |
6. <<Refund of Ticket>>
| 6-1. |
Only in the event that the whole session written on the Ticket is cancelled, the purchased price of the Ticket will be refunded only to the original purchaser (the "Purchaser"). However, in the event that the session is partially cancelled, the purchased price of the Ticket shall not be refunded. Details of such will be announced via LOC homepage. |
| 6-2. |
The LOC will refund to the Purchaser, the face value of the Ticket and the expense for Ticket delivery to the Purchaser born by the Purchaser (the "Expense"). LOC will not refund the purchased price of the Ticket to the persons other than the Purchaser. |
| 6-3. |
Refund only includes the Expense and shall not include other expenses for transportation, accommodation, communication, remittance, etc. |
7. <<Other>>

Provisions of this AS Terms and Conditions may be changed or added without any prior notice by the LOC. |
Privacy Policy
The LOC will use personally identifiable information of the purchaser ("Personal Information") in accordance with the following provisions, and those who apply for the Ticket shall be deemed to agree this Privacy Policy.
<<Acquisition of personal information>>
- The purchaser agrees that the LOC may record (including phone recording) Personal Information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, payment details and the Ticket application record of the purchaser for the purpose of exploitation of the services necessary for the Ticket sales. The purchaser acknowledges that the LOC will not sell the Ticket to anyone who will not agree to provide Personal Information or who is discovered providing false Personal Information.
<<Purpose of use of the Personal Information>>
- The LOC will use the Personal Information posted by the purchaser for the following purposes. In the event that the LOC uses Personal Information for a different purpose other than the following, the LOC shall contact the purchaser and obtain permission for such use.

Sales and delivery (Application, Payment, Delivery) of the Ticket to be sold by the LOC |

Provision of services related to the foregoing (provision of information over the internet, e-mail, mail, telephone, etc. for schedule change, cancellation of the Event, and such other information as the LOC finds necessary). |
| (3) |
Correspondence to the inquiry from the purchaser. |
<<Provision of Personal Information to third parties>>
- The purchaser shall agree that certain contractors (the "Contractors") who render services for the LOC with respect to the Ticket sales will use the Personal Information, and the LOC provides such Contractors with part of the Personal Information (name, address, e-mail address, etc.) to the extent necessary to exploit the services by the Contractor. In such case, the LOC shall ensure that the Contractor shall not disclose Personal Information to other third parties and shall not use Personal Information for purposes other than that set forth in the contract with such Contractor.
- The purchaser shall agree that the LOC will exchange the Personal Information with Financial Institutions to confirm the validity of credit cards or record of payment with respect to the payment through the credit card companies or banks.
- The LOC has the right to provide a portion or all of the Personal Information to third parties without the consent of the Purchaser in the event that the situation falls under one of following cases.

When necessary to protect human life or property and where it is difficult to obtain timely acceptance from the purchaser. |

When necessary to enhance the public health and sound growth of juveniles and where it is difficult to obtain timely acceptance from the purchaser. |

When necessary to cooperate with state institutions or local public organizations or their assignees for their performance of civil services where it is difficult to obtain acceptance from the purchaser. |
<<Safety management measures for Personal Information>>
- The LOC shall provide necessary and sufficient safety management measures of the standard technology level of the time to protect Personal Information against leakage, loss, unauthorized access, falsification, destruction, etc.
<<Procedures with respect to the request for disclosure and correction of Personal Information>>
- In the case of requests from the purchaser for the following, the LOC shall respond to such request subject to the verification of identification of the Purchaser. However the LOC may not respond to such request in the case adverse affects against LOCfs business operation are expected.

This Privacy Policy is effective on July 1st 2006 twelve midnight Japan time.
